What is QIN? QIN engine is the native sample playback plugin developed by KONG AUDIO. All KONG AUDIO products will be based on QIN Engine. QIN is more versatile, more efficient, more stable, and more useful than what was previously used for the development of KONG AUDIO’s products. QIN, literally means "instrument" in Chinese (琴). Originally Qin was the name of what we now call "GuQin", but in the modern day Chinese, the word is now being used as a conjunctive term for a wide range of instruments. QIN is specially designed from the ground up to fit KONG AUDIO's aims at maximizing the potentials of recreating vibrant classical Chinese instruments. QIN is an ongoing development. It will evolve with our dreams and user feedback. It will be improved and it will improve user's experience at composing and performing using our crafted instruments.
